John Vickers Service of Celebration

We have been asked by John’s family to sing at a Service of Celebration

of his life, which will take place at St. James’s Church, Louth, on

Monday 3rd September, at 1.30pm.

We will sing three pieces during the event, and a congregational hymn at

the end.

When the Saints go marching in.

Alleluia.

Morte Christe.

Guide me oh Thou Great Redeemer (Bread of Heaven) as the congregational

hymn.

We will sit in the body of the church on the left near the pulpit, so as

to be more a part of proceedings. It will not be a particularly

religious event, as John was not.

We have been invited to attend the Wheatsheaf afterwards for

refreshments, so can all please respond to this email, so that we can

advise Stuart and Barbara Vickers to assist with the catering.
