Octangle-1st-St-Helens-Theddelthorpe-2013-09-28-b lrQuadwrangle  were asked to sing at Theddlethorpe St Helens on the occasion of their Harvest Festival Supper on Friday 27th September. As a bit of a surprise bonus, the newly formed octet, Octangle, also attended to give their debut performance. We were all royally treated to some fine Lincolnshire hospitality, including supper and wine, after which Quadwrangle sang four pieces, followed by Octangle with seven pieces, one of which was a religious song written by the 16th century composer Thomas Tallis. This was it’s very first performance by members of the Louth Male Voice Choir and seemed to be enjoyed by both audience & performers. The finale, by special request was the popular “There Are Women” sung by Quadwrangle. The photo was taken by a member of the audience and shows from left to right- Gwyn Law, John Newman, Brian Wood, Paul Firth, Roy Barber, Paul Wright, Graham Burrell, John Hards (report by Roy Barber)
