Graham Burrell
Graham Burrell has been the choir’s musical director for almost four decades. His enthusiasm is undiminished. His musical skills, energy and coaching skills are critical in achieving compelling concert performances.
Graham has developed the choir’s capabilities to the extent that in recent years (but ubterrupted by Covid) it has won awards at the Eskdale Music Festival in Whitby, high marks at the Mrs. Sunderland competition in Huddersfield town hall, a notable appearance at the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod, and several trophies at the Cottingham Music Festival.
Graham is also an accomplished pianist and much-in-demand organist. "LMVC is one of the most rewarding parts of my life. I enjoy Tuesday evening rehearsls and concert performances alike."
